The London Classic Car Show 2016
Following a successful debut in 2015, the London Classic Car Show returns to the ExCeL in Docklands next week between 18th-21st February 2016…
Said to be 100% bigger and better than last year’s event, the expanded indoor show will be filled with the UK’s finest classic cars, including offerings from the Porsche brand. Discerning classic car owners, collectors, experts and enthusiasts will descend on London’s ExCeL to peruse the assembled automotive stands from car dealers, manufacturers, car clubs and accessories specialists.
Rather unique to the show, its centrepiece ‘The Grand Avenue’ returns for 2016. This roadway running through the centre of the show allows exhibits to be fired-up and driven providing visitors with the chance to see, hear and smell some iconic classic cars in action.
The new ‘Car Club Square’, located in a dedicated hall adjoining the main exhibition area, will provide the UK’s single-marque classic car clubs with space to exhibit, including Porsche Club Great Britain. This area will hark back to days of the London Motor Shows, complimented by period entertainment in a retro bar and café. Further to the vintage vibe, visitors to the show on Sunday are invited to wear period clothes.
Speakers’ Corner will provide show-goers with an open forum for guest speakers and VIPs to talk classic cars, while 60 cars representing England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States have been selected under the theme of ‘Six Nations’ – all of which are set to parade down The Grand Avenue.
An adult entry ticket costs £23, child tickets cost £17, and family tickets available at £65. For more information and ticket bookings visit www.thelondonclassiccarshow.co.uk
