Christopher Ward Offers Motorsport Funding
Premium watch brand, Christopher Ward, has launched a unique six-week competition to offer UK-based racing drivers or riders much needed financial support…
The Need for Speed competition is searching for car, and motorbike racers, with a genuine world-class talent in need of a helping hand to fulfil their full potential. Entrants will pitch for a place on the brand’s Challenger Programme, which provides sports men and women with additional funding and support. The competition is being launched in celebration of Christopher Ward’s new C7 Rapide motorsport collection, it will run for six weeks reflecting the six watches in the firm’s new range. The winner of the Need for Speed competition will receive a place on the programme for two years, benefitting from financial backing, PR support and a watch allowance.

Established in 2013, the Christopher Ward Challenger Programme has worked to provide support for budding grass-root sports stars. Current and previous Challengers have included; world-record holder Team GB Paralympian Sammi Kinghorn, Olympic Gold Medallist Will Satch, Olympic semi-finalist Team GB skeet shooter Amber Hill, and explorer and ultra-marathon runner Jamie Maddison.
