KW suspension for Boxster Spyder
KW has released details of a new suspension kit for the 981 Boxster Spyder…
Owners of the latest 911-engined Boxster Spyder will be all too aware that the car did not benefit from the extensive chassis work undertaken on its coupé cousin, the Cayman GT4, by Porsche’s famed Motorsport department. German tuning expert KW Automotive has set out to put that to rights with this new kit, comprising coilover springs for the car’s front axle, and sport springs for its rear axle. The kit allows the front of the car to be lowered by upto 25mm.
These new height-adjustable KW springs have been designed to replace the original fitment Porsche suspension components with precision-fit KW items developed specifically for the Boxster Spyder. Once fitted, the kit allows users to lower their vehicle by between 5mm and 25mm at the front, and a complimentary yet discreet 15mm at the rear. KW cites its motorsport experience with Porsche endurance racing teams such as Falken Motorsports and Manthey Racing as proof of its expertise in the field of suspension.
The kits are priced at £725.00, visit www.kwautomotive.co.uk for more information or to order. Installation work can be carried out by various automotive specialists, or by Porsche dealers.
