Porsche Opens Classic Life Pop-Up
Porsche GB has opened a new pop-up shop at Bicester Heritage in Oxfordshire called Classic Life. Run in conjunction with Porsche Centre Swindon – an official Porsche Classic Partner – the shop is described as ‘a showcase’ for parts and accessories for older Porsche models, from the 356 to the 996. The store also offers on-hand expertise to help owners with any questions they may have.
The concept follows the Porsche Life pop-up shops which visited various shopping centres around the country. The philosophy at Bicester is the same, to allow visitors to learn more about the brand in a more relaxed, informal setting, where visitors are encouraged to drop in, have a coffee and talk all things Porsche. The shop features a customer lounge, parts shop and inspection ramp (visitors can arrange vehicle inspections), the latest additions to the Porsche Classic Parts catalogue are on display and available to be ordered along with over 52,000 Porsche Classic Genuine Parts.
Formerly RAF Bicester, the Heritage site is now a thriving hub of specialist businesses dedicated to historic vehicles. Its restored buildings and tree-lined avenues are the perfect setting for Porsche Classic Life, which is based in the old Fire House. The Classic Life shop opened to the public for the first time at Bicester Heritage’s hugely popular Sunday Scramble meeting on 22 April. The day saw a range of classic models on display including the 1980 924 GTP Le Mans racer, and a 1965 911 2.0 short wheelbase.
Visitors are welcome to visit Porsche Classic Life and meet the team, though it is advised to call ahead to ensure they are ready to greet you. For more information call Stephen Brown on 07773 948516 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
